jMemorize

Keyboard shortcuts

I’ve created a wiki page that lists all keyboard shortcuts of jMemorize. You can find it here:

http://wiki.jmemorize.org/Keyboard_Shortcuts

While you’re at it you might as well check out the rest of the user manual. It doesn’t contain a lot of content right now, but if you would like to help us with that, just hit the edit link and contribute to the docs. Thanks!

i think it would be better if you add a function to redefine shortcut key. I prefer remap all learning keys so i can learn with one hand.

btw. I’m a Chinese guy. I’d glad to help you with Chinese language translations. if you like this idea, I will translate the language file, save as translation_zh_properties and send to you.

    Hello trangram,

I’ve added a ticket for redefining shortcut keys to the feature tracker. Thanks a lot for your feedback. About translations: we never have enough of them. :-)

Can you add ctrl-b for bold, ctrl-u for underline and ctrl-i for italics on the edit card page? This seems fairly standard for text programs.

  4. rdjemili Says:

    @Todd,

I’ll look into for the next release. Thanks for your feedback.

I’ve added text formatting shortcuts to the developer version. The functionality will be included in the next release.

The one thing I miss in this otherwise awesome program is an option to review randomly all the cards, or the cards in the 5th batch that I haven’t reviewed in a very long time. Or even better, the cards where I have failed more often…

Thank you and keep up the good work!

  8. JM Says:

Actually there is one very easy way to do it: create a category for difficult cards, cut and paste the cards with a lower percentage of “passed”, and review them. Their new position after testing them can also be seen in the category “all”, which is the one I usually use. This program is great!

Any updates on this new release? :)

  10. rdjemili Says:

Almost done. :) It will mostly be a bugfix release. I’ll probably release it this weekend when I have time.

    Thanks for your great program!

Will there be a Pocket PC build in the near future?

  12. rdjemili Says:

Well, probably not in the near future. At least I’m not working on it. This is open source though, so you never know.
